The company has already completed an extensive range of commercial installation
and service work. The main thrust of the business is the installation
and upgrading of new and existing properties to Digital, together with
installing Digital / Communal TV and Satellite Systems to Retail outlets,
Offices, Bookmakers, Clubs, Pubs and Hotels and Caravan Parks. Contracts
range from as small as ten outlets to several hundred outlets with complex
distribution systems.
Campbell & Kennedy Ltd are also contracted to carry out response maintenance
work for various District Councils and Housing Associations and operate
under an Accredited Sub Contract agreement to carry out Satellite installation
work and servicing repairs for Sky In Home Service.
The company operates a range of price schedules depending upon the customer
and offers discounts for larger volume work. Contract work priced on
a job by job basis depending upon the type of contract, timescales,
degree of difficulty and conditions attached / specification required
etc.
Campbell & Kennedy Ltd have full membership of the Confederation of
Aerial Industries and are CAI/SMATV approved engineers. The company
takes pride in being an authorised Sky Agent, Authorised British Telecom
Agent and an Accredited installer for Sky Digital and Freeview Digital.
The company is also an accredited retailer / installer of AEI Music
by Satellite.
The biggest majority of the company's workload is within Scotland's
Central belt area since the company advertises heavily in all the Glasgow
and Edinburgh editions of Yellow Pages and in six editions of Thomson
Local Directory in central Scotland. The company undertakes contract
installation work in Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, Fife, Perthshire, Argyll
& Bute and Edinburgh. Where contracts are substantial in size engineers
reside on site for the duration of the contract. Primarily the company
operates in Central / West of Scotland however we are keen to expand
our location base and are therefore actively seeking more installation
work in the East and South of Scotland and also in the North of England.
Campbell & Kennedy Ltd employ twenty two full-time TV/Satellite engineers,
one TV/Satellite repair engineer, two sales staff and four administrators.
Tom Kennedy is employed as a consultant to the company.
The company is an accredited member of the contractors compliance scheme
for Health & Safety in the construction industry and has been fully
audited by MESSRS Envirotec Scotland Ltd in this respect. The company
has now retained Envirotec Scotland Ltd as its Health & Safety advisors
and all of our engineers have undergone an elementary Health & Safety
Certificate course approved by REHIS.
