Health and Safety
The company is an accredited member of the Contractors Compliance Scheme for Health & Safety in the construction industry and has been fully audited by Messrs Envirotec Scotland Ltd in this respect. The company has now retained Envirotec Scotland Ltd as its Health & Safety advisors in respect of Construction Site related works and all of our engineers have undergone elementary Health & Safety Certificate courses.
The nature and importance of Health and Safety to the company is such that a separate consultant is retained for accrediting and training provision for Commercial installation works and domestic installations. The company is independently audited by Tetra Safety Consulting Ltd , they also deliver and certify all height training and equipment relative to access and egress form domestic, commercial and properties in excess of 30ft in height.
Campbell & Kennedy have 5 teams of qualified Specialist Height Trained engineers. All other engineers are trained to working at height standard and have certified fall arrest training.
Gerry Kennedy and Stuart Leggat have completed and passed the IOSH Managing safety course and G. Kennedy has also completed and passed the C-Mist Planning Supervisors Course at Herriot Watt University sponsored by the Royal Institute of chartered surveyors.
All construction and commercial related engineers have undergone IOSH SPA passport training and / or REHIS elementary training or CITB health & safety training. All senior engineers have undergone SIT Training , Fall Arrest training and Mobile Roof anchor training for specialist height access.
The company have invested heavily in health and safety systems and equipment and are backing this up with a safety management system for on going training and auditing of safety standards for all engineers.
